My second "Mr. Bento" lunch: more of the black bean soup, plus a turkey and cheddar sandwich, some green grapes, and a bit of rice pudding.

Funny story about the black bean soup, though. I put it into the microwave after taking this photograph, and put a splatter guard on top to keep it from getting all over the interior of the microwave. Weeeellll... except either it was too hot, or there was too much soup, or both... because the splatter guard formed a vacuum with the bowl itself! Seriously, I could hold the splatter guard by itself and the bowl would stay attached underneath.

(I almost took a picture but I am wearing a white shirt today and this seemed like tempting fate.)

When I finally got the guard off of the soup, of course, it exploded all over my sink. But fortunately, not on me. My replacement soup was heated at a lower power setting and with just a paper towel on top.
